COMR’s first foray into experimental noise music strays far outside of any perceivable barriers, in the best way possible. Green Rock has never been exemplified so well. They take unexpected artistic liberties to please both, the listener’s ears and minds, as well as their own. At points it can feel eery and desolate, like in the title track, It’z All The Zame. A noise track, taking a satirical look at the genre from the perspective of a non-listener, that captures all of the tropes we know all too well. However, just when the album seems to have taken you into the deepest corners of your mind, it brings humanity right back to the surface with tracks like the closing, This One’s For You (With The Boiz). A charming tale of a boy who’s lead a tragic life, misses his family and friends and just wants to be normal... Closing in at 32 minutes and 30 seconds, It’z All The Zame poses as a perfect segue that flows smoothly into the third and final installment of the comeback trilogy.
